Voluntary National Review

In June 2020, the UN website published the first Voluntary National Review of the Russian Federation's achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The review reflects the achievements of the Russian Federation in all 17 Sustainable Development Goals and contains the results of a comprehensive monitoring of socio-economic development and the development of the strategic planning system since 2015.

The Russian survey was prepared by the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Rosstat and other departments, organizations and companies. The work was carried out within thematic groups for each SDG.

More than 200 experts were involved in the work.

Rosstat took part in the preparation of each of the 17 chapters of the Review, as well as the statistical appendix to it.
