On March 4–7, 2025 the 56th session of the UN Statistical Commission took place in New York, USA. The Inter-Agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) presented a report on indicators for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, including the results of the 2025 comprehensive review of the global indicator framework. The UN Statistical Commission adopted the proposed major changes and minor refinements to the SDG indicators presented in the IAEG-SDG report.
