Indicator description
The indicator consists of two parts: 1. Growth rate of per capita income among the population as a whole (a macroeconomic indicator of average per capita monetary income of the population). 2. Growth rates of per capita income among the poorest 40 percent of the population (an estimate based on data from sample household surveys and a macroeconomic indicator of per capita monetary income of the population). The growth rate is calculated as the average annual growth rate of per capita monetary income over a period of approximately five years.
