Proportion of time spent on unpaid domestic and care work

Indicator description

Based on the data of a Sample survey of the use of the daily time fund by the population. Proportion of time spent on unpaid domestic work and caring for household and family members by men and women in the daily time fund (24 hours-100%). Respondents aged 15 years and over. Unpaid domestic and care work includes activities carried out for their own end-use by household members and family members living in other households.Unpaid domestic and care work includes: cooking, washing dishes, cleaning and maintenance of housing, washing, ironing, gardening, pet care, purchasing goods, installing, maintaining and repairing personal items and household items, caring for children, the sick, elderly members of the household and members of the household with disabilities, as well as other members of the household and family.
