Proportion of individuals who own a mobile telephone, by sex

Indicator description

The indicator is calculated based on the data from the Federal statistical observation form № 1-IT "Questionnaire for a sample population survey on the use of information technologies and information and telecommunication networks" as the ratio of of the population of the corresponding gender who used a mobile phone over the past 3 months for communication (not just as a watch, for games, listening to music or watching videos) to the total number of the surveyed population of the corresponding gender. A mobile phone is a portable phone with a SIM card installed that provides access to the public telephone network.
