Indicator description

Safely treated wastewater is wastewater that pollutants don't not exceed the permissible values established by the permitting document after treatment at treatment facilities . The proportion of safely treated wastewater is calculated by dividing the total volume of safely treated wastewater by the total volume of wastewater requiring treatment and multiplying by 100. The source of information is the summarized data of federal statistical reporting on water use in the Russian Federation by the form № 2-TP (water management), formed by the Agency for Water Resources in accordance with the order of the Federal State Statistics Service of October 19, 2009 № 230 "On approval of statistical tools for organizing Federal statistical monitoring of water use by the Agency for Water Resources".
