November 2017

The 6th meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) was held from 11 to 14 November 2017 in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.

The 3rd meeting of the Expert Group on information and statistical support for monitoring the goals of sustainable development at Inter-agency working group took place on 24 November 2017 in Rosstat.

The conference "Statistical Capacity Building for Monitoring of Sustainable Development Goals" took place on 30 November 2017 in Rosstat.

September 2017

The Federal plan of statistical works was supplemented with subsection 2.8 "Indicators of achievement of the sustainable development goals of the Russian Federation", which included 90 indicators for achieving the goals of sustainable development in the Russian Federation by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 23, 2017 №2033-р.

The United Nations has presented the publication of the Report on the Sustainable Development Goals, 2017.

June 2017

The authority to coordinate the activities of subjects of official statistics on the formation and submission to international organizations of official statistical information on indicators of achieving the goals of sustainable development of the Russian Federation in accordance with the accepted international standards for the exchange of statistical data was entrusted to Rosstat by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 6, 2017 №1170-р.

May 2017

The 2nd meeting of the Expert Group on information and statistical support for monitoring the goals of sustainable development at Inter-agency working group took place on 22 May 2017 in Rosstat.

March 2017

The 48^th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UN Statcom) was held from 6 to 12 March 2017 in New-York, USA. IAEG-SDGs has shown a report on indicators for the achievement of sustainable development goals.

The 5th meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) was held from 28 to 31 March 2017 in Ottawa, Canada.

February 2017

The Expert Group on information and statistical support for monitoring the goals of sustainable development at Inter-agency working group was created under the chairmanship of Rosstat in February 2017.

The 1st meeting of the Expert Group on information and statistical support for monitoring the goals of sustainable development at Inter-agency working group took place on 28 February 2017 in Rosstat.

December 2016

In December 2016, Rosstat joined the Inter-agency Working Group under the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation on issues related to climate change and sustainable development (IWG).
